GENERAL INFORMATION
What is a spider MEWP?
Expert Answer
A spider MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform), also known as a spider lift, is a compact tracked access platform. It's named after its four independent outriggers that deploy like a spider's legs to stabilise the machine. They are built for the high-reach tasks that standard cherry pickers cannot reach.
